wow... I am really staying on top of this!!!
It's great to know that I can document my life and all the things that are happening around us.
The weekend is slowly (and I do mean Sloooooowly) approaching and we have a full one ahead of us!
I'll share it with you:
Tomorrow night we have bible study. I love going to church. It is the place where we can really be with GOD. He is always around us, but when we are with other Christians, it really lifts our spirit. We have really found our way in this ministry and continue to learn. We have started working as leaders of the youth group, but classes have been postponed until we have a new place to meet. We have also become involved musically. My husband is the drummer and I am the back up singerof our worship band. We love praising the Lord and it really takes us to a new level with our worship when we are the ones leading. God is Good!
Saturday is CLEAN HOUSE DAY (as well as clean car day)! We are going to do several things on Saturday around the house. One is organize hubby's office. He is not very organized and besides being HIS office, we are also going to use it to file our bills and stuff, so we need a little "work station" for that. We will also deep clean the bathrooms, bedrooms, etc as well as deep clean both cars. We have let the cars go for a good while and they need to be brought back to ship shape form. Especially hubby's car. The interior (as well as exterior) is no bueno. He treats it like a moving can o'trash sometimes and I understand that we are too tired during the week to clean it, so this is it! I will try to take befores and afters so you can see how fabulous we worked it!
Saturday afternoon - We are meeting up with my cousin and his new wife ( Cello and Melona) We got them a computer (used of course, we are not big timers) for their wedding present that they can use for cello's music or melona's school or really whaterver they want. We also have some picture frames that I made for them for their wedding. I got an idea from another blogger that I thought was absolutely beautiful and made my own version of it. I have a picture frame that I put words on from the song that Cello had his dad sing at their wedding - "I cross my heart" - I put the words "In all the world, you'll never find. A love as true as mine." It was soo romantic. Not a dry eye in the house! ... ahem.. anyway. I think we are gonna drive to their house and check it out. He has lived there for like 3 years and I have NOT seen it! lol
Saturday Night - BINGO!!!! The hubbs and I are going to BINGO with my bff and her man! I can't wait. I went to BINGO two weeks ago and was thisclose to winning some major mula. It would be nice to win some money, but if we don't - ahhh who cares. Wait a minute, what am I saying?!!??!?! I CARE! I wanna win!!! - well in anycase it's the presence of friends that excites me so ... no no, it's the money! Money, Money, Money, Money..... MONEY!!! ok ok.. lets move on...
Sunday - sleep late! ahhhhhhhhhh... then get up, grab some grub, hang out around my super CLEAN house and then finally get ready and go to church.
Lovely Lovely weekend planned. Wait till Monday when I update you and you will see if it really did go as planned! - does it ever?

I'm still going!
Well it's day two of my blogging journey and a few things came up since yesterday.
1) So yesterday hubby and I made a pact with each other that we are going to start saving, saving, saving! We have this beautiful new house! We have 2 cars (- of which we only drive one for most of the week) We eat out A LOT, but aren't really "shoppers" for say. Well actually I am not a "shopper" - hubby on the other hand, has the bigger closet. nuff said!
So in an effort to save, save, save - we are coming up with various tactics to achieve our main goal of being master of saving!
2) Fixing up the avocado - what, you might ask, is the avocado? Well the avocado is hubby's car - We call it the avocado because it is green, it is rough on the outside, but smooth on the inside. It has GREAT potential. If only my hubby would treat him that way! pictures to come in a later post. More than likely befores and afters!
3) Keeping the house "guest ready" - right now we have gotten into the bad habit of eating at the coffee table. Well then why the heck did we buy a dining room or breakfast nook table?? I dont know, because what else do you put in the dining room or breakfast nook? In anycase, besides eating at the coffee table, when you walk into the house - there is a myriad of shoes (mostly mine I might add) and you just might trip walking into the living room. As well, I always drop whatever bags I have on the edge of the couch. So we really need to come up with a solution on how to keep (atleast the first level of the house) "guest ready" any suggestions?!?!?!?!? Pictures to come in the next post!
4) I have asked hubby to get the "exercise room" tv ready so that I can work out more often. Nothing is worse than working out in silence! yuk! We have a treadmill (thanks awhite) and a weight bench and other work out accoutrements to continue the weightloss, but its kind of un-motivating to work out in a space that is not really set up.
So... that's where we are right now. Stay tuned as we get our lives into tip top shape!

Well... what the frank?
ok... so I am no bueno at the blog thing as you can tell! I thought that I would have been the BOMB at doing this as I love to talk and love to tell people about myself. but alas.. I was wrongo.
So lets try this again.
It's been 7 months since my first post and wow.. all I can say is CHANGES!!!
Here is what has happened in the last 7 months... in chronological order.
1) I traded in my Vue... the car that brought a lot of fun and good times to my life, but my hubby COULD NOT DRIVE is officially gone. Why couldnt he drive it you ask? because he does not
know how to drive standard. that's right... I thought that all men had that driving standard microchip in their brain at birth, but nope. So in the three years of our life together, he NEVER drove my car. In February, we finally decided it was time and took my car to CarMax to get a price estimate and ended up getting a car from there. A 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. Dont you just looooove the color. I absolutely love this car! It matches us so much. We are so comfy in it and best of all hubby can drive it! woohoo!!!!
2) We bought a house! OMGoodness... we have bought a house.. what the frank?!?!?!?! Yup we woke up one day and just knew it was time to buy a house! We have been married for 2 years and renting for both, so we thought what the hey! Let's buy a house. We only told a select few that we were buying a house and thought we would use a fellow nestie as our realestate agent,
but she was pg and was due at the time so we didnt think that she would be able to do it. My grandparents got wind that we were going to use our nestie connection and wouldn't hear of it! They promptly told us about the "family realtor" that people in our family had used (why we didnt know of her is beyond me) and so we contacted Rosie and within a few days - we found our house! It really was relatively easy to get the house. We ended up with a new construction and it worked out great in timing with our apt lease and we were good to go! What do you think? This picture is actually from the builders website. So our brick is actually more black and red and our entrance and bay window is on the right not left of the garage. I will post in another post pictures of the house and all the cool stuff we are doing to it!
3) I have lost 23 lbs! yup... 23lbs... but I actually didnt start losing until after my adjustment in May... More on that in another post.. but yeah! for the 23lbs!
4) Hubby and I became youth leaders at our church. The lord is really doing his work in us and is making us strong leaders and selfless givers!! We rock! :)
5) My bff, Jessica (which you will hear about A LOT in this bloggy blog!) is dating a great wonderful fabulous guy that my hubby and I really love for her. Especially because he is a great addition to our friendship! We are the 4 Amigos! We have soo much fun together and I really think they are gonna get hitched!! woohoo.. big ole party here we come! :)
6) My sister, which you will also hear about A LOT is talking wedding wedding wedding wedding wedding and oh did I mention wedding. Yup, she is a wedding-a-holic. Hi my sister's name is Ellie and she is a wedding-a-holic. She is unofficially engaged (she doesnt have a ring yet) but they (my sister and her boyfriend) know that they are going to marry each other, so she is planning the wedding. I am the Matron of Honor and the person above from #5 is a bridesmaid - she's got I think about 6 or 7 bm's and then a Maid of Honor and then me (Matron) This is gonna be some party!!!! :)
Well now that you are caught up with what's going on. I know that I will continue to post about our fun filled life! We are officially blogged!!! :)
