February.... where did you go???

WHOA! February flew right past me and I totally didn't update the blog at all :(

Well, here I am on the 5th day of March - 1 day after our 4th anniversary (wedding). I told hubby that he did not have to send me flowers, but little did he know that I was gonna do something for him. So I got to thinking and was kind of stumped on what to send him at work. i mean really, what guy wants to get flowers?? Don't get me started on the outrageous prices on edible arrangements (cookies, fruit, chocolate covered fruit, etc)! So I thought, what would a guy like that he doesn't have to worry about going out to get... LUNCH!!!! So I called the fine peeps at Dominos and had this delivered:
Two medium pizzas with pepperoni and an order of cinasticks!!! YUM... We didn't do anything last night because we had band practice - though we did have a quick dinner before hand with our pastors. Good times!!
So let me tell you about Valentine's day since you missed it. The hubs sent me flowers to work.. what a sweetheart!! Here's a quick pic:
And since we didn't really want to spend much money this year - we went to dinner at our church's Valentine dinner for couples. It was lovely and we had a great time in fellowship with other couples. Here's a quick pic of that.
Fast forward a little and this lady (the one on the right because I am the one on the left)

came to work with me. Yup! My little sister came to work at my company and has been here for 2 weeks already!! It's pretty cool because she is big on cooking and so she always has food for me! :) LOVE IT.

So fast forward to today. Tonight the hubs and I are going to dinner to celebrate our anniversary. We got a few gift cards for this restaurant that we had not heard of before but since getting the giftcards have heard of how YUMMY it is, so we decided to give it a go. It's called Flemings and the special for March sounds DELISH. See below for yourself:

APPETIZER - Lobster Bisque topped with Lobster BruschettaClassic Soup Garnished with Lobster Salad on a Toasted Baguette Slice
ENTRÉE - Filet Mignon and Australian Lobster Tail (for each guest)with Vanilla Lemon Butter
SIDE DISH - French Green Beanswith Shiitake Mushrooms and Porcini Essence
DESSERT - Warm Pear and Blueberry Tartwith Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

Doesnt that sound delish??? YUM!!!!!
Anyway, I am about to go and pick hubby up so we can try it out... Can't wait!!!!
