The wedding was great and I LOVE when the ceremony is personal to the bride and groom. I feel like when the hubs and I got married, our ceremony was really generic and we didn't get a chance to make it ours... que sera, sera! Hopefully one day we can change that with a vow renewal - who knows...
ok back to Mo's wedding. The church is an ollllllllllddd Catholic church in Downtown and so the lighting was horrible and all of my pictures from the ceremony came out really blurry or orange or just plain bad - so I am not posting any of those, but I will go with whatever reception pictures I have. They had their reception at a GREAT location in the "happening part of town" and it was just beautiful. I would have only changed the way they did the cocktail hour because you had to walk through the whole dining room (which was beautiful) to get to another room in the back of the venue to have the cocktails which was a little weird, but all in all, it was delightful!
Let cocktail hour begin:

Walking down the hall into the cocktail area - beautiful arrangements!!
CHEEEESSSSEEE - literally, they had cheese, crackers and a chocolate fountain with fruit.
grandpa and my dad - super soph!
grandma and my date
KSchafe and my date... by a beautiful fountain and another arangement...
the cakes.. yes that's a starwars cake... Both cakes looked awesome, though we didn't get to taste any since we left early to go to my dad's partay!
Buffett setup... the placement was a bit strange as it made for a holdup on the line, but all in all it was ok.
My place setting... loved the little touches!
Instead of the hubs (who was suppose to be my date) I had soph hold his place card in his "place" LOL.
My date and I!
waiting for the bride and groom to get to the venue is boring... so we got a little silly with the camera! LOL...
Some people were not so lucky to have VIP seating such as my date and I - and they were seated up stairs... There is our friend kacey at the top right...
The bride showing off her surprise cake to her groom!
both tags with thank you note....
the bride and her moh (my sister elle)
my grandparents! (they were at another table)
another party goer at our table.. super cute!
my beautiful sister in the buffett line
another bridesmaid (and a scared party goer on the left)
kacey.. trying to cut in line at the buffett... lol, j/k.
yummy salad and veggies - the chicken was so/so.... and the beef was too pink for my taste, so I didn't get it.
love the red polish (both of us had it on) and our napkin ties that we fashioned as bracelets!
