The weekend approaches...

Today is a good day!

Last week was really hard for me... there were things going on that I really had no control over. It was sad and made me angry and really I just wanted to start this new week, LIKE NOW. So it started and has been ok, but on the flip this week has been really hard for the hubs. He has been working a lot and while it's all good in the OT (overtime) department, it's really stressful in the marriage department. Why, you ask? Well because he is coming home tired and he is not really up for anything but sleep! ughs... The good thing is that it is FRIDAY! The bad thing is that he has to work tomorrow too! ay yay yay!!!! It's all good though because the Lord has made it possible for us to Rejoice and Praise for our jobs. As well, he has made it possible for us to go on vacay, so we are going on our cruise at the end of the month and all this OT is going to help make sure we have a great time on the cruise! - AMEN!

Moving on as TODAY IS A GOOD DAY!

As I stated in another post - see here - I am becoming more and more obsessed with makeup/hair, etc and therefore I wanted to share some of the things that I have been doing. One thing that I will not talk about just yet (in pictures) is that I am getting my haircut this weekend. Now, keep in mind that I am usually a short hair - think chin length - kind of girl, but I am going even shorter and edgier... I hope it works out. Don't worry, I'll do a post with before, during, and after pics! (with the inspiration video/pics as well) - Ok.. so anyway, I have been wearing my eyeliner in a slight winged out effect with very lighhhhht eyeshadow (to better showcase the eyeliner). Here is a pic of how I have it today:

Now, usually I am always in the felt tip liquid eyeliner camp - but I keep forgetting to put that eyeliner in my purse makeup bag and for some reason I am only carrying my brush tip applicator liner, so brush tip it is. AND you know what, I am ok with it. I am slowly figuring out how to manipulate it.

Here it is. It's a really thin applicator brush. I am really liking it.

The eyliner is the Wet-n-Wild brand and I like it mostly because its really black! So it looks more polished. We'll see how long wearing my eye makeup like this lasts....

Another product that I am loving is the Bath&BodyWorks Triple Moisture Body Cream! First of all it smells delightful, but more than that - it is sooooooo moisturizing. Just love the way it leaves my hands and body! I keep one in the restroom for after I take a shower. I keep one on the nightstand for when I am getting ready for bed and then I keep one in my purse. Here is the downside - this scent only comes in the big size :( booooo... so you can only imagine me whipping that thing out of my purse at a restaurant! ha!!! - I can't get enough though! I also can't wait for the next sale so that I can stock back up. (I have 2 bottles on reserve, so no worries there!)

As for nail polish - you can see for the pictures above, I am still rocking the Chili nailpolish from Revlon - too good! I realized last night when I repainted them that this polish really does dry fairly quickly! :) rock on!

Ok.. so I am off to finish my Friday and then tomorrow it's HAIRCUT TIME!!!! woooohoooooooo!!!
