You say it's your birthday??
Yup that's right! I am officially "in my thirtys". Yup I turned 31 today. I can no longer tell people that I am 30... Now I can say "oh, you know I'm in my thirtys" I am excited and worried all at the same time. I feel like, ok, so now it's really time to be an adult. But I dont know that ever will be! LOL.
You know I thought today was going to be a not so good day as I woke up late and forgot my badge in my other purse (which means that whenever I go to the restroom or when I am leaving the parking garage, I will be stuck because you need your badge to get in and out of anywhere at work!). BUT I got to work and they had some yummy Panera Bagels ready for breakfast and my cube was pimped out.
So far I got a pink Tulip plant, a sbucks giftcard, sbucks frappucino, some frosted animal crackers and some pink m&ms. I will be going to lunch with my coworkers... not sure where yet, but I know it will be gooooood! Then tonight the hubs is taking me to dinner at one of my favorite restaurants for some yummy sushi! Can't wait!
Weekend Recap: So this past weekend was great. In my last post I told you about going to dinner with my dad and his date, which wasn't all that bad. His "date" didnt say much (maybe 15 words total) but that's ok. I still had fun. My dad gave me a Charles Hubbert watch. It's a little more fancy that what I am used to, so it will only come out on special occasions.
On Saturday I spent almost the whole day with Jengifer. We went to eat at a cute little tearoom (YAY!) and then went thrifting. My kind of day!
Saturday night I met up with some of my friends/family and we at some Freebirds and then went to the movies. Super fun times - that is until I spilled my 3/4 of the way full mixed cola/cherry Icee on the floor AND on the person sitting to my right. UGH.. what a mess! I was soo embarrased. That is until the person she was with spilled all their popcorn all over her. Hmm... I'm thinking it wasnt her night to go out. Just saying. anyway, I got some GREAT gifts from my very generous and loving family/friends - I got this ring from my bff/sister and her hubs:
I got the painterly paint pot (mac) from my bff - I wanted this for quite some time so that I can work on my eye makeuping skills (yeah I just made up the word makeuping)
I got a super cute purse from my bff/cousin bianquis (bad Iphone pic)
I also got a gc to chilis (YUM babybackribsssss) from my cousin and his wife. I got some yummy body butters and some cut tops (blouse's) from my other bff - BLESSED I tell you!!!!!
Then yesterday we went to church and then to Macy's to pick up the gift from my wonderful, handsome, ever so thoughful husband... a new watch from fossil that I have totally been wishing for:
I am totally in love and am already sporting it today!
