It's THURSDAY!!!!!
This a calendar I have in my cube... what a beautiful day dreamy scenery. ahhhhhh...
Oh goodness gracious! My trend is that I almost always have a post on Thursday! I will skippidy do da my way through the week and then remember to post on Thursdays!! LOL.. My nail polish color this week is called Privacy Please by O P I ( the brand is pronounced by saying each letter separately... not together). It's a really natural and soft color, so I had to do 3 coats! wooooohhhh... AND please excuse my cuticles as they look HORRIBLE. - if you can even tell from this horribly blurry pics!
Moving on... I wanted to tell you guys about my other obession that has somewhat taken over my life... LIPSTICK! Loreal Endless formula to be exact. It all started almost a year ago when the hubs and I went on our cruise with my good friend LConnell. She was wearing this really pretty lipstick and I noticed that she would apply in the morning and it would still look good by the end of the day. So on the last day I asked her what she was wearing and she said it was the Loreal Endless and it was in the color Extreme Spice. So now that I knew the magicalness that was her beautiful pucker, I knew that I would try to get this color and see how it would look on me. Well I ended up finding a coupon for the brand and got it really cheap. I WAS HOOKED! I loved it and from then on have been using this color. I also found another color that I liked called Timeless Tawny. I don't wear it as often, but I like it much.
I know what you are thinking - well that doesn't sound like an obsession, that's normal! You found a color that you liked and bought it. What's the big deal?
WELL I'll tell ya! I fell in LOVE with the color/formula and last month I found out that Loreal is taking that formula away! OH THE TERROR! So I set out to find all the Extreme Spices and Timeless Tawnys I could get my hands on. (and they were much cheaper than what I had originally paid with my coupon as they were clearanced). To my dilemma, I wasn't the only one on the lookout as I never found a Timeless Tawny or Extreme Spice to save my life! BUT I did find a bunch of other colors in this formula that I LOVE - such as In The Buff - and a few others. I mean, it's gotten to the point where if I happen to be in a store (doesn't matter where) I will make my way to the Loreal section to see if there is any possibility of finding some Endless goodness... only to be disappointed by an empty display. whoa is me....
Fast forward - the other day my friend pbean told me that her grocery store had a great supply of the Endless formula so we high tailed it out there and sure enough they were STOCKED (though no Timeless Tawny or Extreme Spice). I got some good colors, though I really hope I find something similar to this formula when my stash dwindles to nothing.
So there you have it... not only am I obsessed with nail polish, but Lipsticks as well....

So there you have it. I leave you with a cute little bouquet that I have left over from Valentine's Day... (our office building gives all the lady's two carnations when they get to work and my coworkers gave me a few more so that I could fill the little vase)
