Well? Ok.

It's Thursday, AGAIN!

This is outside my younger brother's dorm room - he's in college in CedarHill and they are getting some good snow time. He actually lost power yesterday :( but I'm sure he's getting some good rest!

So I didn't want to talk about this because I don't really know what's going on? Like how can you talk about something that you don't know much about? Either way I will try to talk about as much as I know for now.
For several months every now and then I would have some muscle pain on my upper body (think shoulders/neck/arms) and some weird rash on my face that covers my cheeks and nose. It would come and go and come and go but never too consistent for me to be worried. That is... until about a week or so ago. I have been having some weird symptoms more consistently and almost on a daily basis. The muscle pain has actually stayed longer than most times and has traveled down and covered my upper abdominal (think rib cage area) on both the left and right side. My facial rash has come almost everyday and is hot to the touch. So on Tuesday I went to see my primary care doctor to see what she thought. She thought it could be something to do with my gall bladder or even something more invasive, so she had me get get some blood drawn as well as an ultrasound on my upper abdomen and an upper gi. It usually takes a few days to get the results back, so we will see what's up. So that's what's been going on this week (as for my lack of posts.. you know)

YUK.. Enough about that! We are supposed to have snow this week. I'm excited as we may not have to come to work on Friday because of it and it will give me some time to clean up the casa! :) I don't believe it will be as much as the picture up at the top of this post, but still... bring out the snow!!! I'll keep you updated!

Also, this past weekend, I was lucky enough to pick up some FREE stuff to fix up!!!! see here:

This is a red leatherish ottoman. It's on the longer side and will look GREAT at the end of the bed. I can't wait to finish up the bedroom and actually make it look fabulous and I think this will be a GREAT addition to it! I got it for free, it's in AWESOME condition and when I brought it home, I flipped it over and saw that it was from Garden Ridge (and still had the freaking price tag that said $179.99!) woooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

This one has seen better days.. Or wait, as I look at the material I don't think it could possibly have seen better days.. ok let's move on. Anyway.. my hope is to strip it down to see what I'm working with and then recover it while exposing the legs (if possible) and using it in the master bath. It may be a smidge too big for the master bath, but we will see....

Stay Tuned!

Hasta!

Adri
