Weekend Recap and Randoms...

Welcome to my first installment of Weekend Recap & Randoms!
This is where I will recap the weekend as well as give some random info.  Here we go:

Friday was good in that I got off a smidge early.. (like literally 4:45.. haha) and went to pick up my little brother Jonathan who was spending the weekend with us.  We picked up the hubs and then picked up some Pollo Riko!  This food is soooo simple but oh so good! (it's Colombian style chicken, rice, beans, and other yummies)

 Saturday I got up early to go with JVilla and my sister Ellie to see if we could find JVilla her wedding dress... I will say that it was quite exciting and really wonderful to finally be able to do this with her.  I had shown her Savanna's dress and said - I think you would totally look good in this dress and so she took that as her starting point.  - let's just say... well ok we won't say, but she did say YES to THE DRESS... check it!

While I was out with my girls doing girly things - the hubbs and Jonathan were cleaning the garage.  When I got home from being with the girls, they had built the new shelves and had moved everything to be sifted through.  So I went to town!  Here is what is looks like now (oops, no befores... ).  We need to organize it a little better, but atleast we have plenty of space to do it!

The new Ikea shelves that only cost $9.99!  (the ones on the left.)

Our old shelves - this is where I want to put all the kitchen appliances that we don't use on a daily.  I love that everything fits so well!!

Later that night we headed to Spring Creek BBQ and then HalfPriceBooks, where I picked up this gem... let's see if it works.. I'll keep you posted!

 Sunday got up early and went to church... though from the looks of the picture below - someone must have stayed up late playing video games... 

That's little Jonny! (he's 15) - can you tell I'm wearing something furry.. it's a cute little vest thingy that has a poufy skunk like collar...super cute!

 
 After church we met up with our cousins from SanAntonio to eat some crawfish.  On this website that I am member to one of the girls had rec'ed it and it was GREAT!  Loved it! If you are in Houston and looking for a place to eat crawfish - this is the place.  It's off of I10 and Blalock in the Ranch99 Market building. 

After the crawfish, we went walking around the market.  It's an actual mall that has quite a few stores and a market with exotic and fun foods/stuff!  Loved it!! I got nailpolish for $1!!! and some Pocky! 

I only have one Random this week - 
I am obsessed with these chips.  I love them - they are not too spicy AND my favorite ones in the bag are the folded ones... hahah!!! Sadly since I bought the book above, this will be my last bag... RIP Kettle Cooked Jalapeno Chips... I LOVED YOU so!!!!
