And soo... the neglect sets in! I will not go into the whole schpeel (or however you spell it) into how I have been sooooo busy and blah blah blah! - even though I honestly have!!!!! ;)
In anycase I will give you a quick update on what's going on in the World o' Faz. So hubby and I survived the storm called Ike *Praise Him* and we got away with really minor damage - a leaning fence and a few roofing shingles - no biggy... well atleast not enough to pay our insurance deductible for it! So we hooked up with a guy that the Nestie Network (my houston girls from thenesthouston) has recommended time and time again. His name is Saul and he mostly did work for the girls that are on the southest side - but ended up coming all the way up north to help us out. Not only was he WAY cheaper than going the insurance route - he also gave us a bid for the gutters that we desperately need and a patio that we will more than like put in at the beginning of spring (yippee!!!) - so there we are on the home front news....
As for us - well I have been feeling under the weather for quite some time and continue to go to the dr to get checked out, but nothing comes of it? I think the doctor's favorite answer to what I am feeling is 'allergies' - what?!?!? I think it's time for a second opinion. So with that, I will be making an appt this week to see another primary care doctor. I just don't know what's up and I believe I have great insurance, so why not take advantage of it? As well, hubby got a nasty cold last week that almost took him out for the count! He RARELY gets sick and well, it was different for him to be sick and staying at home from work without a vacay to look forward too! Poor thing! I will admit that he sounded super cute and well, what can I say, he is my hubby! :)
Anyway.. I wanted to write a little something before my blog starts growing cobwebs!! I will post pictures tonight of the schtuff that I made for my beautiful california cousin, Marci! I will be mailing it this week over to her (another thing I have been slacking on! lol) Oh and I bought the cutest purse for my little sister that I barely ever get to see or talk to - well her birthday is this week and I am going to surprise her with a small gift!!! I hope she loves it!!!
