well then...

So I was all skippidy doo da yesterday when I sent out my little sister's birthday gift overnight so that it would arrive today - ONLY to find out that today isn't her bday - it's Sunday! I'm just going to look at it this way - the early bird gets the worm, right? So she got MY gift first! That's right folks... I was first in line! :) oh well, que sera, sera!

Moving on!
So tomorrow I get to spend some time with a couple of old friends - pbean, mdrou and jvilla! woohoo!!! I actually talk to jvilla all the time (she is my bff) but pbean and mdrou - it's probably been a few weeks - and even more than that since I have seen them. But I get to see them tomorrow!!!! I can't wait to see these girlies! They make me laugh, cry (because of the laughing) and they are just plain fun!

Let me tell you a little about them:...

Pbean and I met one day when we were to start working together at a bank that was just opening a new branch. So I had already been working for a few weeks at another bank getting training and I hadn't met her yet. A few days before the bank was set to open, pbean and I were to show up to work to get things set up and started. This particular branch was opening up in one of the bigger shopping malls in our city. So there I was walking down the stairs and there she was walking up the stairs - we met on the same floor. Since we didnt know what the other would look like it didn't dawn on me that this woman (wearing the same colored clothes that I was) could possibly be pbean. So I walk ahead of her and almost trip - ha! - and then we both end up a the front door of the bank - we looked at each other and she said "are you fazzy?" and I said "are you pbean?" and from that day, we became fast friends. We started hanging out ALL the time! She was in a relationship that went south and I started a relationship (that later also went south) with a guy named T - well for a while it would be pbean, T and me - and I loved it! But T, not so much :( So one day T calls me and tells me that he has the perfect person to set up pbean with - I say, ok.. bring it on! So we end up doing a double date T and I and pbean and B. I could say it was love at first site, but nope - they did not like each other that night, but the spark had sparked and the next day (yes, the next day) they went out and from then on, they have been inseperable! - YUP, I had something to do with that! - so pbean and I have been friends for quite some time, cause now she and B have been married for years and have three of the most precious kids - bean1, bean2, bean3!!!

sdrou and I met through pbean - pbean's neighbor was sdrou's high school friend and so we met through them. With Sdrou, our friendship has been different because we can go without talking for MONTHS and then pick up right where we left of. She is married and has a beautiful house.

jvilla and I also met through pbean. When my relationship with T fizzled and pbean and B made it official (married) then I was kind of like, ok. what next? and then comes along jvilla! Jvilla and I have been through a lot! She is a great friend - we have lived together (roomies!) broken up... gotten back together and still have a great time! She is a great friend, though sometimes, she tells you how it is - and it may not be what you want to hear...you know what I mean??? Anyhow, all in all Jvilla has helped me through some of the toughest times... she's a cool cat I tell ya! And now, she is in a serious relationship that will soon be more than that... wink wink!

So anyway... I will be hanging out with them tomorrow - lunch and coffee - and then later on in the day I will be hosting a women's bible study over at the faz palace. Good times!!! If I remember to bring my camera, I will take pics!
