update at the house.

When we moved to the house, I was skippidy do da about fixing it up to the way that we wanted! I was soo excited to get started that I got my friend pbean to help me personalize the powder bath on the first floor.

I had this idea to do vertical stripes - but didnt quite know which color I wanted to use. While at the store, we found what I thought was the perfect shade of green. So we started. I am saddy that I didn't take before or during pictures - but atleast you get to see what the end result was. looks pretty good doesn't it??

Well... that was 7 months ago... I loved the idea of the stripes and it totally looked great, but it DID NOT go with the rest of the house - the green was too bright - I mean, I was really trying to convince myself that it was fabulous. When I went to hubby with the idea of changing the stripes to a different color - he wasn't too happy about doing it so I told him the all he had to do was help me tape and I would do the rest.

So there I was - again, no during pictures, but definitely some afters!!! What do you think?

I saw some beautiful wall art that I need to go get to hang above the toilet - the ones that are there are the ones that I had when I had it painted with the stripes and I didn't have anything to hang there, so I just put the back. Hopefully I will get them soon (if the hubs lets me spend a little mula!)
