Phew!!! Busy weekend and Monday to boot!

So this weekend a few friends and I went to visit a good friend (Pbean) at the Hospital that is having "supposedly' having liver failure (we wont believe it!), but we are believing in GOD that she is just having a long vacay (without argument) where she can focus on her herself and her health.

I had asked her last week if she needed anything and she said that she could really use an eyebrow wax! Well being the beauty school dropout that I am, (not really a dropout - I finished, just never went to work in the field) I brought my waxing kit and off we went to give our dear friend a spa day! Cute Hair and glasses!!! You know..looking good does lift up your spirits. Look at her hubby in the back ground. They have 3 kids under the age of 4 (I think they are 432 or something like that)and he has been doing quintuple duty of playing nurse, deliver man, dad, chaufer, etc.! My friend Mdrouet (in the next few pics, she is in the orange tshirt) brought her some lipstick and scored because 1) it was totally a pbean color and 2) it was on sale for $1.39 from $5.79!

I got a new camera! woohooooooo! ;)

I had a great mother's day! My son - (read cat) Pierre got it for me for Mother's Day! LOL... I love it.. it's a cute reddish pink color and here is the very first pic I took with it:

Went to dinner with my mil, bil and hubby on Sat - good food and good times!

As well, we spent time with mom and family on Sunday. Just overall a good weekend (soo short)

I got NOTHING done on my procrastination party entry! This is what I am suppose to be working on. All I have done so far is 1) get the paint together 2) get some new sheets and comforter cleaned and ready. That is it!!! The deadline is this Friday!! ahhhhh!! Maybe she will give me a few more days (like the weekend) to turn in my afters??? You think?

Oh and last night I went to the grocery store to take advantage of some deals that I could stock up on.. Here's what I got:

5 bx of cereal (frosted flakes,mini wheats,raisin bran)
2 gals of milk ($1.99 each!)
3 artichokes
Bananas
Cucumbers
8 Healthy Choice meals
2 packs of slice Kraft cheese
1 bag of shredded Kraft cheese
Zucchinis
1 loaf of bread
All for $37.52 (everything is NAME brand)
Originally $59.51, but all was all on sale and I had coups, so I saved $21.99 (36%)

NICE.... I am aiming for 40% for next time.. each time I will aim a little higher! :)
